Build integrations from the first week 🚀
We’re growing fast and looking for an Integration Developer Trainee to join our Integration team in Kraków who wants to write code, build features, and learn on the job. If you’re curious, eager to ship code, and excited about integrations, and you want to grow into how we work and build great products for our users at Teamtailor, this might be the role for you even if you don’t have years of experience yet.
What you’ll be doing 🧑🏽💻
As a trainee on our integration team, you’ll work directly in the codebase and contribute to real projects from your first days and take our 450+ integrations to the next level.
Write production code in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Work with Git, submit pull requests, and participate in code reviews.
Debug, test, and improve existing integrations.
Work with 3rd-party APIs, webhooks, OAuth/API keys.
Handle data mapping, rate limits, error handling.
Write tests, monitor application health, improve quality.
Learn and grow through pair-programming, mentorship & self-studies.
Learning to develop and manage solutions using fundamental AWS services like Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.
You will have direct impact on people’s work and make our users happy, right from the start.
What we're looking for 👀
You like the web and you are curious to learn and would like to grow as a developer with the team and the company.
You have a foundational understanding of backend JavaScript/TypeScript.
You are comfortable with your code editor and Git.
You are a curious problem-solver who enjoys building and shipping code.
You are a team player, that likes to collaborate with others and communicates clearly in both written and spoken English.
You live in or close to Kraków, or are able to commute to the office a few days a week.
You are probably in the beginning of your developer career.
You are open and curious to gradually continue to develop within our tech stack that includes for example Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, and Tailwind CSS, AWS.
What you’ll get
You’ll join an experienced Product team of about 60 developers and designers, and in our day-to-day work, we communicate mainly in English.
Team with big impact - You will be part of the Integration team in Kraków that consists of 7 developers and you will be part of continue growing this hub.
6-week cycles using Shape Up - We work in an agile way with ShapeUp as our foundation, this mean focused time to build, plus Innovation Week for experiments and Improvement Week for polish.

The structure of the developer trainee program 📈
As a developer trainee you will join our 6-Month trainee program that is designed as a structured growth path around Integrations through three progressive phases where you have a dedicated mentor along the journey.
Learn - Build a strong foundation in our tech stack, codebase, and how we work, with dedicated time for learning and close mentorship.
Contribute - Contributing to the integrations, participate in discussions, and help improve existing solutions.
Drive - You can take ownership of integrations, lead small initiatives, and work more independently.
In all these three phases you will be hands on coding. When the program is finished, you’re expected to be able to build, maintain, collaborate, and plan integrations together with the team as a developer in our Integration team.

This is a hybrid remote position on a B2B contract. We are only looking for candidates based in the Kraków area, Poland who enjoy working with the colleagues from our office a few days per week.
