Enterprise CSM – Success2024 marked 8 years at Teamtailor for me and it made me reflect and think back on our time together as 8 year actually is a pretty long time.
When I joined Teamtailor back in 2016 as an Account Manager I had no idea I would stay this long or love my job so much! Sometimes you just need a bit of luck right?
Back then the sales team at Teamtailor was basically given a phone, a computer and the words “go for it!” - so I did! There were hardly any rules and no limits. The only thing that mattered was to get more customers and any way you made that happen was good! We sold Teamtailor in a different way using storytelling and being creative in our meetings with the main goal to inspire and challenge the way companies were working with recruitment. Back in 2016 Teamtailor had roughly 150 customers and not a lot of people had heard of us.
After 9 months we had doubled the size of the sales team and I got promoted to what we then called a Key Account Manager, working with bigger companies and more complex sales processes. Following 2 years I spent as Team Leader and later on also Head of Sales for the Swedish market. As Teamtailor grew we went from being a start-up company to a scale-up and the market leader in the Nordics.
After 4 years in sales I wanted a new challenge so I swopped sides and joined the customer success team. This brings us up to today and after 4 years (and one baby girl) I now hold the role as Enterprise CSM.
This year Teamtailor will reach +10 000 customers world wide and we're a big family of +350 colleagues. What a difference 8 years can make. Cheers to the next 8 😉
